Supplier Code of Conduct

This document establishes the standards for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices that suppliers and vendors must follow. Our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices extends to our entire supply chain, and we expect our suppliers and vendors to adhere to these standards diligently.

1. Environmental Standards

1.1 Environmental Protection

I. To act in accordance with applicable and relevant international standards and regulations on environmental protection;
II. To minimize environmental pollution and make continuous improvement processes must be in place to manage and reduce environmental impact.
III. To setup and use an environmental management system complying with the basic principles of ISO14001.

1.2 Resource Efficiency

I. Efficient use of energy, water, and raw materials is mandatory.
II. Suppliers should implement measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants.

1.3 Waste Management

I. Develop and maintain procedures for handling, recycling, and disposing of waste.
II. Ensure that hazardous waste is managed responsibly and disposed of through certified vendors.

1.4 Chemical Management

I. Maintain an inventory of chemicals used and ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal.
II. Avoid the use of substances banned by local or international regulations.

1.5 Environmental Permits and Reporting

I. Obtain, maintain, and keep current all required environmental permits.
II. Comply with reporting requirements and provide timely updates to relevant authorities and stakeholders.

2. Labor Rights

2.1 General

I. Provide fair remuneration to workers and guarantee the applicable national statutory minimum wage;
II. Respect the right of employees to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively.

2.2 Prohibition of Child Labour

I. Ensure workers engaged are not below the age of 18.

2.3 Prohibition of Forced Labour

I. Not to request deposits, delay payments, offer advances or loans with the consequences of indebting the employee and binding him or her to employment;
II. Not to deny the employees the freedom to leave the premises when their work ends;
III. Not to charge the employee, directly or indirectly, any fees or commission related to the recruitment and/or employment process.

2.4 Working Hours

I. To comply and follow all applicable laws and regulations with respect to working hours and days of rest;
II. To have a work week of maximum 60 hours, including overtime;
III. To ensure that employees have at least one day off every seven days;
IV. To compensate for overtime at pay rate greater than regular hourly rates in accordance to national and local legislation;
V. To incorporate the 60-hour limit, day of rest, and monetary compensation in written employment contracts and in worker communications such as orientation training and employee handbook.

2.5 Non-Discrimination

I. Prohibit discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, caste, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, or political affiliation.

2.6 Wages and Benefits

I. Ensure wages and benefits comply with local laws and industry standards.
II. Pay workers in a timely manner and provide written information about their employment conditions and wages.

2.7 Humane Treatment

I. Prohibit harsh or inhumane treatment, including sexual harassment, sexual abuse, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, and verbal abuse.
II. Clearly define disciplinary policies and procedures and communicate them to workers.

2.8 Health and Safety of Employees

I. To take responsibility for the health and safety of its employees;
II. To control hazards and take precautionary measures against accidents and occupational diseases;
III. To provide training and ensure that employees are educated in health and safety issues;
IV. To set up and use an occupational health and safety management system.
